Clarification re TURNITIN rubric:
When you review the exam on TURNITIN, you see a completed rubric that represents performance on the essay. Since you submitted one document containing two parts, you can infer the paragraph score by using basic algebra. In other words, you know the exam grade and the essay score, which allows you to solve for the unpublished paragraph score.
I enjoyed reading the exams not only because they develop interesting ideas about our reading, but also because they represent significant growth in your writing skills since last August.
A final thank you to those who completed the course survey. The results reveal meaningful lessons and raise valuable questions. Thank you for taking the time during a busy pre-exam weekend.
