Underneath the draft of your poem, respond to these questions, in complete sentences:

Challenges you faced doing this work?
Observations about the results of the work?
Reflections – looking at the overall process?
Extensions – If you had more time, would it make a difference? How would you do things differently?

(Responses assessed according to three criteria of “Short Writing Rubric”: clear and specific)

TO TURNITIN, submit a document that contains your poem draft and this reflection.

Afterwards, start reading more poems from Poetry 180, in order to find one that you would like to read to the class.  As you finish reading a poem, record its title, author and poem # in your Poetry Notebook.  Occasionally, I will circle the room–in growing orbits–to see people’s lists of poems read.
