If you have not already, be sure to send this email before Monday’s class starts. These instructions first appeared in Friday’s agenda.
Once your group has done this successfully, move–individually–to the play. As in the last class, email a response to this question, using 3-5 sentences: In terms of your evolving impressions of Oedipus as a person, where do you most significantly agree or disagree with the Chorus’s reaction to the dialogue between Oedipus and Teresias? (Quote a brief set of lines for reference.) What does your reaction suggest about your future feelings towards Oedipus later in the play? In the email’s subject heading, write “the chorus and me.”
If class ends before you have finished the email, send it later–before Monday’s class.
